On May 21st, the winners of The T1D Exchange Diabetes Innovation Challenge will be announced. Winning innovators will share a pot of $250,000 in cash and in-kind prizes.

For the Challenge, everyone in the T1D community has the chance to vote for their favorite proposal to improve type 1 diabetes care, detection, and technology. The biggest vote-getter will win the Challenge’s People’s Choice Award.

We’ve asked Challenge participants to send a short video about their work, and we’re sharing videos from some of the event’s 10 finalists. Below, you can watch a short video about Protomer Technologies’ work to create a glucose-responsive glucagon formulation:

To vote on this or any of the other proposals, go to the Vote Now link. Just be sure to vote before May 19, 2018, the last day of voting. And if you’d like to register for the 2018 Diabetes Innovation Challenge awards show, you can do so here.
