On September 23rd, T1D Exchange will hold its annual meeting at the Royal Sonesta in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The theme of this year’s meeting is data–and the  organization’s commitment to use it alongside collaboration to improve outcomes for individuals with type 1 diabetes.

In the keynote address, “The Evolution of Real-World Evidence in Drug and Device Deployment,” two speakers from the FDA will talk about how big data can serve as a source of real-world evidence to support drug and device innovation. This is critical for the type 1 diabetes community, for which data plays a pivotal role in disease management.

Other topics of discussion at the meeting will include how to utilize data to improve the quality of clinical care, success using an innovative model in the clinic to deliver impactful therapies, and the striking growth of T1D Exchange Registry since enrollment began in December 2018.

The event will take place between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM (EDT). You will be able to view this meeting here.

Next week, T1D Exchange Glu will feature coverage for the event. Stay tuned.
