Dear T1D Community,
The University of Virginia’s Center for Diabetes Technology is seeking individuals with type 1 diabetes ages 15 and older who use multiple daily injections (MDI) using either insulin pen or syringe therapy to participate in a research study.
The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy of a Decision Support System (DSS) which is an advisory system designed to provide pen and syringe users with an estimated HbA1c tracker, predictive alarms for hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia, treatment parameter optimization, smart bolus calculator, and treatment advise..
The study consists of 3 two-hour appointments to the clinic in Charlottesville, Virginia, with 14 weeks of data collection at home. We are inviting Glu members to take an online screening questionnaire to find out if you may be eligible to participate in this study.
The screening questionnaire consists of a one-time survey that will take 5–10 minutes to complete. If you qualify, you will receive compensation for your participation in the study.
Check whether you qualify for this study!
Thank you for helping us advance research in type 1 diabetes.
